system is an important part of modern cars, which has a great influence on the

entire support system composed of springs and shock absorbers between the body
and tires. The function of the suspension system is to support the body and

Zotye Control Arm Suspension
The seemingly simple suspension system combines multiple forces to determine the stability, comfort and safety of the car, and is one of the most critical components of modern cars.
As the guiding and force transmission element of the automobile suspension system, the automobile Control Arm transmits various forces acting on the wheels to the body, while ensuring that the wheels move according to a certain trajectory. The automobile control arm elastically connects the wheel and the vehicle body through a ball hinge or a bushing respectively. The automobile control arm (including the bushing and ball head connected to it) should have sufficient rigidity, strength and service life.
Structure of automobile control arm
1. Stabilizer connecting rod
When the suspension is installed, one end of the stabilizer bar link is connected to the stabilizer bar through a rubber bushing, and the other end is connected to the control arm or barrel shock absorber through the rubber bushing or ball hinge. The stabilizer bar link is symmetrical in the selection. Use it to improve operation stability.
2. Tie rod
When the suspension is installed, the rubber bushing at one end of the tie rod is connected with the frame or the body, and the rubber bushing at the other section is connected with the wheel hub. This type of control arm is mostly used in the multi-link suspension of automobiles and the tie rod of the steering system. It mainly bears lateral loads and guides the movement of the wheels at the same time.
3. Longitudinal rod
Longitudinal rods are mostly used in drag suspensions to transmit traction and braking force.
4. Single control arm
This type of automobile control arm is mostly used in multi-link suspensions. Two single control arms are used in conjunction to transmit lateral and longitudinal loads from the wheels.
5. Fork (V) shaped arm
This type of automobile control arm is mostly used for the upper and lower arms of the double wishbone independent suspension or the lower arm of the McPherson suspension. The fork-shaped structure of the arm body mainly transmits lateral loads.
6. Triangle arm
This type of automobile control arm is mostly used for the lower arm of the front suspension McPherson suspension to transmit lateral and longitudinal loads and control the relative movement of the wheels and the body.
