Radiator is the main part of the cooling system, the purpose is to protect the engine to avoid damage caused by overheating. The principle of the radiator is to use cold air to reduce the temperature of the coolant from the engine in the radiator. Radiator belongs to the car cooling system, engine water cooling system in the radiator by the water inlet chamber, water outlet chamber, the main piece and radiator core and other three parts. The radiator cools the coolant that has reached a high temperature. The coolant in the radiator becomes cold when the radiator tubes and fins are exposed to the airflow generated by the cooling fan and the airflow generated by the movement of the vehicle. In order to avoid engine overheating, the parts around the combustion chamber (cylinder liners, cylinder heads, valves, etc.) must be properly cooled. To ensure the cooling effect, the car cooling system is generally composed of radiator, thermostat, water pump, cylinder block waterway, cylinder head waterway, fan, etc. Radiator is responsible for the cooling of circulating water, its water pipes and heat sinks are mostly made of aluminum, aluminum water pipes made of flat shape, heat sinks with corrugated, focusing on heat dissipation performance, installation direction perpendicular to the direction of air flow, as far as possible to achieve small wind resistance, cooling efficiency to be high. The coolant flows inside the radiator core, and the air passes outside the radiator core. The hot coolant becomes colder because of heat dissipation to the air, and the cold air heats up because it absorbs the heat dissipated by the coolant, so the radiator is a heat exchanger.
Most car radiators are installed in front of the engine and fan. Its function is to increase the heat dissipation area and accelerate the cooling of coolant. In order to take away the heat from the radiator as soon as possible, a fan is installed behind the radiator to work with the radiator.
The working principle of the car radiator is based on the water temperature, engine load, the signal is transmitted to the computer, the engine computer controls the fan high and low speed relay, but also by the air conditioning pressure, the air conditioning computer receives the air conditioning pressure switch, indoor and outdoor temperature, and other signals, and then through the bus to the air conditioning signal to the engine computer, the engine receives the signal can be turned on, control the compressor, while controlling the fan relay suction, when the air conditioning pressure is affected by the environment, and its own fan relay suction. When the air conditioning pressure is increased by the environment and its own influence, the engine computer receives the signal from the air conditioning computer and controls the fan high-speed relay to close, and the fan runs at high speed.
